“KC Prodigy finds success on the court and in the classroom!”
Playing basketball can be tiring. KC Prodigy plays in tournaments in and out of state weekly. Sometimes returning late on Sunday nights. Returning to a classroom on Monday morning can be a drag physically and mentally. Although the physical and emotional demands of Monday’s come every week for the girls, it hasn’t stopped some very distinguished ladies of KC Prodigy. Girls from the class #2020, Saneea Bevley, Teryn Chatmon, Sania Copeland, Tasia Johnson, Kiersten Markos, and Cierra Smith are an example of just that. Sania Copeland, recipient of Coaches Honor Roll, when asked how she balances the school and the court, responded “ I listen to all my teachers, turn in my work timely, and check my grades daily.” For the third quarter of school, these ladies found a balance to achieve Coaches Honor Roll (straight A’s) or Academic Achievement ( A’s and B’s). These ladies work hard to commit to their team and their education.
